Subject: Suggestions for turning unvaccinated audience to vaccinated one

Everything in the Pre Covid world was working normal, in fact was the best world has to offer in terms of normalcy, until the pandemic outbreak happen via COVID 19 and which became serious with the bad games of the Big Pharma. The bad games by them mostly which game not just in India but very part of the world, seems wants this virus not to go away as mot of the companies became profitable only because of the pandemic.

We all have seen news reports of cross demeaning the vaccine an companies by their respective competition, the world post COVID would never come, we may have to adjust with the pandemic and new strains, not because we do not want it to go, but because the Big Pharma does not want the virus to disappear and the reasons are very well known to most of you.

Nothing in this world, is governed without the politics, so is the present situation of the vaccines globally. W all also have seen the same happening in the vaccine distribution to countries, economically weaker sections and country were given the doses at a higher price while the richer at the lower cost, the names of the names of the countries are well known to the masses. Pondering upon the situation, I was thinking what if the Government of India makes it mandatory to get vaccination for accessing even basic facilities. Linking basic facilities such as Aadhar, Voter ID, and even the Pan Card with Unique Vaccination Status can help solve a lot of issues.

Some of the common ways can be :

1. Mandatory linking aadhar with CoWin portal for vaccination status- India is such a huge country with billions of people and almost every citizen having a aadhar card for availing amenities, the problem of unvaccinated citizens can be easily eliminated by making vaccination status linked with the card. The UIDAI, can also deactivate the cards for unvaccinated citizens. With 129 crore active cards, it can be a simple step.
2. Vaccination Status linking with the PAN card – PAN is another valid documentation for many service for a citizen, linking the basic vaccination status with this card also, will element problem of unvaccinated people. If people could not use their cards just because a simple vaccination, the next step will be getting their doses. Alteast people with a Valid Mobile Number can get their vaccination status updated, not manually but automatically using the CoWIN. The problem for unvaccinated people not able to fil income tax returns, or a higher penalty on unvaccinated people would be a better option according to me.
3. Vaccination Status linking with the Voter ID- Linking the vaccination status with Voter ID can also be beneficial as elctions are also at times a source of contamination of the virus. Linking it with Voter ID, will only let vaccinated people vote, which again will infuse a responsibility of getting the Vax first
4. Free Health Insurance For Tax Payers: The Government should provide a mandatory health insurance to all the taxpayer of the country as it would be a biggest benefit and motivator in the country like India, added benefits for the vaccinated citizens will also boost the confidence of people to get more.

Not just with above mentioned facilities but Vaccination status should be made mandatory across all the services government has to offer. Two of the best initiatives of this Government are “DigiLocker and Arogya Setu” which have connected so many people and given access to document digitation at was, similarly making vaccination status mandatory will solve almost all the problems. Th threat of Omicron ha led the government of launching and giving approvals to two nw vaccines and allowing precautionary doses seems to be a good step taken. Looking forward to see the initiatives take action
